How to get here: Tides Reach is a water-access only holiday cottage. Park at Church Point car park and catch the on-demand water taxi (5mins).

Tides Reach is located in a quiet residential area so we have a neighbourly duty not to allow parties/events/buck weekends nor loud music (played quietly only inside the cottage) and no swimming after dark for maritime safety reasons.
The cottage is visually located directly opposite Holmeport Marinas
Overnight car parking: As with all popular seaside locations, parking is at a premium and there are limited spaces so we encourage our guests to carpool if possible. Use the Church Point pay and display car park ($35 - $40 per day) located to the right of the Pasadena building near the Ferry Wharf. There is no nearby street parking so this is the closest overnight option unless you street park at: BYRA Club House, the southern end of Bayview or Monavale (25mins+ walk away).
Pink Water Taxi: 0428 238 190 - departs from Church Point Ferry Wharf, 6min ride to Tides Reach costs approx. $55 one-way for up to 6 people (incl luggage). Operates on-demand daily from 6am - 8pm.
Boat ramp and trailer parking: Rowland Reserve, Bayview - pay and display car park ($35 - $40 per day).
Captains ‘House’ Rules
Rule 1: Seafarers capacity
Cottage occupancy: 8 guests only. No visitors allowed unless prior permission from host, Joanne.
Rule 2: Love thy neighbour & noise policy
Tides Reach is the opposite of a party house. Located in a quiet residential area, McCarrs Creek Western Foreshore has unique terrain which makes it a natural sound amphitheatre. Therefore, any noise travels easily to neighbouring cottages plus over the water to surrounding bays so we can’t allow parties, events, bucks weekends or use of the deck in the late evening.
By 10pm, all guests must move off the deck/jetty and go inside the cottage and close the front door (most neighbours go to sleep at this time and even speaking noise on the deck is very audible due to the unique terrain)
No loud music or excessive noise at any time. Tides Reach's sound speaker only to be played at 'dinner music' level and remain inside the cottage
No swimming or jumping in the sea after dark (between sunset - 7am) for maritime safety
Rule 3: Captain says
Guests are responsible for any damages, breakages, theft or loss during your stay.
Rule 4: Mini sailors’ safety
Tides Reach isn’t recommended for young children aged 4yrs and under (or non-swimmers) for safety reasons. The front deck extends over the sea and is open to the unfenced deep-water jetty and pontoon. If you wish to bring very young children, please advise in advance and we will send you a disclaimer to pre-sign. Otherwise guests will be advised to leave immediately upon check-in without refund.
Rule 5: Pirate pets & smoke
No pets or smoking due to the cottage being nestled in a national park.
Rule 6: NSW code of conduct
During your stay at Tides Reach, we require that you are aware of and agree to abide by the NSW Government’s Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry.
If rules aren’t followed -> Walk the Plank
If required, our on-site caretaker, Matthew, will provide only one warning of the 'Captains house rule violation' (via text & voice call) to booking guest and if behaviour continues all guests will be asked to leave immediately with no refund (as per Airbnb T&C's). This also applies to a credible neighbour complaint or visit by the water police. We strictly adhere to this policy and have zero tolerance as it's our neighbourly duty.
