ONSHORE

  • Backyard bushwalks - enter Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park from the Cottage’s backyard. Take a short stroll to the South Elvina Wharf (12mins), see the Elvina waterfall (20mins) or Sydney’s largest Aboriginal engravings rock platform on Elvina Track (30mins).

  • Waterfront dining - cook a BBQ feast and dine alfresco on your deck or in the living room with water views. Or put your feet up and pre-book a local caterer to sail over your gourmet feast.

  • Birdwatching - see King Parrots, Kookaburras, Butcherbirds, white Cockatoos and if lucky, Owls

  • Board/card games, reading or drawing (games box provided)

  • Yoga on the deck (4 mats and 2 blocks provided)

OFFSHORE

  • Kayak - 1 adult & 1 junior size provided

  • Stand Up Paddle Board - 2 adult boards provided

  • Hire a boat and sail around the Pittwater

  • Fish - drop a line off the deck and catch dinner (2 x hand reels provided)

  • Jump off the jetty or swim at nearby beaches or inlets (via boat). Between 8am - sunset

EXPLORE FURTHER  

  • Catch the Church Point ferry to Scotland Island (4 stops) or the Western Foreshore which includes: Elvina Bay, Halls Wharf (access to Morning Bay), and Lovett Bay, made famous by Susan Duncan’s book 'Salvation Creek'.
