Introducing Tides Reach - Pittwater Sea Shack

Stay by the sea at this nautical inspired waterfront cottage that's only 50mins drive from Sydney's CBD. Perfect for family getaways or groups of friends to unwind and reconnect, this four bedroom cottage is located at McCarrs Creek, Pittwater on Sydney's Northern Beaches. It is a unique water-access only cottage that sleeps up to 8 people and is just a short watertaxi ride from Church Point. Alternatively guests can bring or hire their own boat and moor at Tides Reach's private deep water jetty.

Available for short holiday stays, Tides Reach is a peaceful and sensory escape that's dedicated to all things sea, sun and sailing. Highlight experiences include: watching the sunrise and set from your expansive deck over the water with 180 degree vistas, drop a fishing line from the deck and catch dinner, kayak around the estuary or go for a bushwalk in your backyard - the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.  

Tides Reach is a coastal, chic holiday home that has been lovingly created as a homage to relaxed seaside living. It's privately owned by an Australian multi-generational family of sea lovers. The family fell in love with the cottage after first reading about it over 15 years ago in The Australian newspaper's 'Home hunt' property section.  After renting the cottage to long-term tenants for nine years, in 2016, the family decided to restore this 1950's cottage to be an authentic Pittwater seaside retreat.  The renovation was led by architect and owner Elizabeth Burns with interior decorating and marketing by owner, Joanne Wilkinson. 

Rates: from $600 - $850 per night* (2 night min). Plus $340* cleaning/linen fee (*subject to change).
